Best smells to repel Kansas City raccoons:

Ammonia:
One good feature of the Kansas raccoon is that they are very clean animals and you can take benefit of this quality to get rid of them. Note that they never go to the bathroom inside their dens so you can try to create a urine-like smell in their living space so that they can believe that it is not worth living here now. Simply soak towels in some natural raccoon deterrent and place them at entrance points of dens. These solutions contain ammonia in rich amount and it will naturally create a urine-like smell in the area. So they will think like their den is spoiled with urine and they will immediately make a plan to move to some clean and fresh location.

Chocolate:
Yeah! It's your favorite but it is troublesome for Kansas City raccoons. Actually, chocolate bars use to have toxic elements that are harmful to some animals such as raccoons and skunks. These animals cannot digest the chemicals present in chocolates and as soon as they eat some part of it, they become sick. Once they get this treatment, they will never look back to your yard or residence in future.

Onion and Pepper:
It is well proven that Kansas raccoons cannot digest the smell of pepper and onion so it is also an easy method to get rid of them. All that you need to do is tale almost ½ gallon water and then add one chopped onion, one chopped jalapeno pepper and two tablespoons of cayenne pepper into this liquid. Boil this mixture on the stove and then let it rest for 20 minutes. Now remove the pepper and onion pieces from this mixture and add it to a spray bottle. Your repellent is ready now; go to the yard and garden and spray this solution on perimeters of your area. Never forget to spray it near trash cans as it is most loved visiting the place of raccoons. It will keep them away from your field. But note that this smell will get fade away within few days so you have to use it again.
